Sip & Stitch

When you think of cross stitch, you probably imagine someone curled in a quiet corner of their couch, focused intently on some small, intricate pattern beneath a reading lamp. Well, this ain’t your grandma’s cross stitch! The goal of this workshop is to make cross stitch a social activity, to bring music and drinks and friends to the craft we're all passionate about.

Whether this is your very first time doing cross stitch or your hundredth, we’ll make sure there's something in this class for everyone. You’ll have a variety of patterns to choose from, learn the basic techniques, and then we’ll let you loose to talk to your friends and fellow stitchers!

The workshop will focus on simple patterns that can be completed in the time allotted, but if things move a bit slower, we’ll make sure you leave with the skills necessary to finish your project at home.

Light snacks and lo-fi, relaxing music will be provided, but the drinks are BYOB.

Don’t be shy! Cross stitch is not a solitary hobby anymore. Join us for some shared stories, good food, and a little something to walk away with, made by your own hands!
